Hot Shops We're Loving: Goods for Good

This roundup features the shops with the pops, the goods that could, the vendors with the most splendor, and the stores with just that little bit more.
This special edition highlights Big Cartel shops that are supporting causes they believe in by donating some, if not all, proceeds of their sales to organizations that could use a little extra help right now.
Victor Melendez and Marisol Ortega
This beautiful silkscreened print, aptly titled "Feroz," is a collaboration between illustrators Victor Meléndez and Marisol Ortega. 100% of the profits from the sales will be going to organizations helping children at the border.
Bijou Karman
Full of feminine flair, much of Bijou's work is focused on celebrating women. From her zines highlighting her favorite singers of different genres to this pink and red "Peace" poster, her work is all about supporting her sisters. She'll be donating 100% of the profits to Planned Parenthood.
Tan & Loose Press
"Better View," this Risograph print from Tan & Loose press encompasses everything we've come to know and love about this wonderful independent publishing press - vibrant colors and supporting community. This piece was released as part of an emergency fundraiser to support RAICES Family Reunification Bond Fund. They're donating 100% of sales made and plan to sell this print for the forseeable future to continue raising funds.
Bison Bison
The Bears Ears National Monument in Southeast Utah is newly protected public land of great cultural and historical significance. Bison Bison Supply created these pins inspired by the area and are giving back a big chunk of the proceeds: $5 from the sale of each Bears Ears pin goes directly to Utah Diné Bikéyah, a non-profit organization that helps indigenous communities protect their ancestral lands.
Mike Paré
"Vote with your dollars, support the arts, experience all sorts of good feelings." That's Mike Paré advice. Mike is donating 50% of the proceeds of each sale of his Animal Spirits print to the ACLU.
Jessica Roux
Jessica Roux is an illustrator, and self-proclaimed "plant and animal enthusiast." Jessica is donating all the proceeds from the sale of her "Strength" print to The Louder Coalition; an organization focused on supporting and empowering victims of sexual violence. The illustration is inspired by the strength Tarot card. "The card is about expressing inner strength, enduring obstacles with composure, and understanding compassion and self-worth."
Mel Kadel
Mel Kadel's talents have transformed furntiure, walls, wine labels, planters, blank screens, and pages into beautiful, energetic pieces of art. She's currently selling this awesome "Her Rights" shirt with all proceeds going to Planned Parenthood.
The Smudge
The Smudge is one of our favorite zines, created and printed by Clay Hickson of Tan & Loose Press (mentioned above, too!) and Liana Jegers. Aside from contributions from some of the best and brightest illustrators, writers, and creative types, each month a portion of the proceeds goes to different organization. Policy Babes
Sometimes wearing your heart on your sleeve isn't enough. Policy Babes have upped the ante and brought politics to the shirt and hat. The "Get Political dad hat" is practical, political, and wicks moisture. Better yet, proceeds from sales of this and a bunch of other items on the shop go to 22x20, a vital organization set ensuring young voters are engaged, informed, and media literate.
ABJ Glassworks
ABJ Glassworks is a small studio in Phildelphia making gorgeous, eco-friendly glass goods for the home. This month and last, 20% of the proceeds from sales of the "Rainbow Olive Branch" goes to RAICES and The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights.
Jen Corace

Striking yet soft, Jen Corace's work draws you in and tenderly holds you close. Working mainly with gouache, acrylic, ink, and pencil, her shop is full of original works, as well as prints and some ceramic pieces. We stumbled across her shop to find not just one, but multiple products with proceeds going to support various causes, like the print above with all sales donated directly to Dorcas International Institute.
