We’d like to send out a huge thanks to everyone who made it to the meet-up in New York City last week. With a couple meet-ups under our belt, we felt like we knew what to expect, but we were once again floored by the talented artists and entrepreneurs who showed up to chat. From completely custom leather belts and accessories with hand-printed bags, to unique Choonimals tees and Brooklyn Bombers hoodies, this NYC crowd stepped up our expectations and kept us on our toes.

We definitely plan on making it out to a few more cities this summer and can’t wait to see what you all have in store for us. Thanks again, New York. We’re kinda developing a crush on you.

Yup, Big Cartel is coming to San Francisco. We’ve had a few opportunities this year to sit down and chat with fellow Big Cartel store owners and so far, the feedback has been unbelievably valuable and the new friendships—even better.

Next up, San Francisco! Come talk shop with us, get some tips on selling your art online and rub elbows with other DIY store owners in your city. We’ll of course have some swag to hand out and sponsor a lucky independent seller with a store for life. Come have a drink on us and get a bit of hustle motivation while you’re there.

Typically the first bit of advice people give you about picking a career is, “do something you love”, and we completely agree. Big Cartel is all about enabling artists to seek their fortunes following their dreams. All the signs, cards, palms, tea leaves and stars point to an amazing year for independent artists and we’re glad to be a part of it. So glad in fact, we’re going to celebrate.

Come join us tonight at Este Pizzeria, downtown SLC at 7pm to celebrate with the entire Big Cartel team. We’ll be answering questions, giving tips on running a successful store and handing out a stack of prizes. See you there!

Big Cartel is packin a light carry-on, and headin to New York for a couple days. We are putting together an intimate meetup at Boneshakers in Brooklyn. Come talk shop(s), set up a store, get some advice from other store owners and learn a bit about our new product Pulley. We will be sponsoring a store with a free Diamond Plan so come put your name in the hat.
