Goodbye MerchBoss – Hello Big Cartel

Since our release 5 months ago, we have been striving to create a unique and simple shopping cart service for the independent, creative, do-it-yourselfer and the response has been overwhelming.
However, in our quest to be unique we soon realized that our current “image” didn’t reflect what we felt our service truly was. It was missing a lot of the character that we felt our service and our customer’s stores possess. So we are extremely happy to announce that, after months of late nights and angry spouses, MerchBoss will now be called Big Cartel. That’s right… Big Cartel!
In addition to the name change, we have also launched a brand new website, a brand new blog / help section called The Mouth (which you are reading now!), and have made huge improvements to our stores and our store admin.
We’ve had an awesome time getting to where we are now, and we can’t wait to see what you guys want in your store next.
